Brain damage runs in my family. Apparently.

  • Drinking: nothing
My mom was in a car accident earlier today. Some guy t-boned her and she was in the hospital for a long time. He was cutting across 4 lanes when he shouldn't have. She has a minor concussion and has a lot of medication to take. Now, everyone on her side of the family has had a concussion. I wonder if that means I'll get one too? It could have been a lot worse, she could have died, but she didn't. I actually started counting my blessings.

It just goes to show that being careful is important. Don't speed or cut through lanes of traffic just so save some time. Not only are you putting yourself in danger, you're also putting other people's lives in danger. Accidents happen even when you're following the rules. That's why they're called accidents, but please be considerate to the people around you. They have families too.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who will now try to be a little more safe on the road. And especially to those who already do.
